Would like an Elyria shirt. Elyria is the land of bars.

Sean:
As long as people that work in Cleveland live in Lorain/Elyria we can claim Cleveland.

timothykilkenny

We could for sure make one for you Michael if you’d like! We don’t have much in the way of phrases for Elyria, but “Land of the Bars” sounds good by us if you want it on there.

Yes! A Mayfield Heights one for me!

Mayfield Heights
“Still better than South Euclid.”

or a Highland Heights one, please!

Highland Heights
“The safest place without streetlights.”
“Wealthier than Mayfield Heights, but less conceited than Gates Mills.”

timothykilkenny

your wish is our command! we’re actually planning on releasing our Highland Heights shirt tomorrow, expect a posting soon :)

How about historic COLLINWOOD ? Or the inner-city’s old ethnic neigborhood typically not found on maps, widely known as SLAVIC VILLAGE OR MURRAY HILL. AND of course, how about the always hip COVENTRY!!
Also, creating shirts w/some of the MAJOR STREETS would rock! I’d totally` rock a ST. CLAIR or Euclid Ave tee … especially St. Clair, where I originally grew up!

23 06 2009
timothykilkenny

We’re planning on making a Slavic Village shirt actually and actually we’re thinking about making street shirts with pictures of the street on it along with it’s own catch phrase!

Folks in Lorain and Elyria need to stop claiming Cleveland.

25 06 2009
Mike

As long as people from Lorain and Elyria still work in, and pay taxes in Cleveland, they can claim it. It’s all about metropolitan Cleveland.

25 06 2009
timothykilkenny

you hit the nail on the head mike, we’ll make all sorts of suburb shirts as long as there’s a demand! and btw, for those of you that have seen the suburb shirts specifically; what do you think of the design? are they too simple? funny enough? please let us know-i know we have our critics, and the main reason we chose this look for the Suburbs was that it’s a simple look, at a good price.

SLAVIC VILLAGE for sure!

24 06 2009
timothykilkenny

Hi Diane!

We’ve had a lot of demand for a Slavic Village shirt, and we’re weighing between doing a catchy phrase that we came up with like the Suburb Shirts, or a picture like our Coventry shirt…or both.

Liz

You need a Cleveland Heights shirt!

Also, (you’ve probably already thought of this) there are lots of street festivals and arts festivals throughout the summer in the various suburbs and Cleveland neighborhoods, I bet you could sell some of your shirts at these events.

how about mentor or lake county? we’re still suburbs!

25 06 2009
timothykilkenny

Hey Jamie! Right now we’re on suburb overload ha ha which is a good thing! I can tell you honestly that right now both Mentor and Lake County are both projected to be showcased soon so I’d say within the next two weeks look for something for both ‘burbs. Honestly we’re glad everyone has a suburb that they want made into a shirt, we were never expecting this kind of response-but expect the unexpected I guess :D

What about Sheffield Lake? I just can’t think of a good expression. The only one I’ve heard is, “Home of Potholes and A$$holes.” But I don’t think it’s very good for a t-shirt, haha.

25 06 2009
Mike

Or, maybe just something with Lorain County.

25 06 2009
Mike

I got it! Sheffield Lake: At least we’re not Lorain.

I bought the Parma shirt because it was close enough, but as a Parma Hts. resident, how about Parma Hts. Parma Hts., NOT Parma. Our houses are bigger and so are our trees.

25 06 2009
Amanda

Oh! I like the comment above mine! Parma Hts.: At least we aren’t Parma.

25 06 2009
timothykilkenny

I’m afraid you’ve let the cat out of the bag Amanda ha ha, but it’s ok! Yes, we are planning on making a Parma Heights tee with something along the lines of “Parma Heights: Parma On Steroids”, or “Parma Heights: Not Parma”, etc. you get the picture :D

25 06 2009
Amanda

Yes! So excited! Now I’ll have to give my Parma shirt to some poor, unfortunate Parma resident…

25 06 2009

Westpark: Where cops lived when they gave a shit

6 07 2009
Angie

I agree. Westpark should go with a Firefighters and Cops theme as its known for…well I guess until the law changes and they all move out haha;) Oh and I’m not completely sold on the Lakewood shirt and I live in Lakewood. Figured you go with more of “Lets go to Mass then to the bar afterwards” hah!

27 06 2009
Misheezy

I ADORE “Ohio – We mess with Texas”!!!

I moved from Ohio to Texas about a year ago, and I actually know a bunch of other people here from Ohio. That would be an hilarious shirt! (Even though I have learned since being here that “Don’t Mess with Texas” is an anti-litter campaign, so I don’t know what that would say about Ohioans… ;-) )

super excited for lake county shirts…

how about shirts for the colleges in/around cleveland? CSU, tri-c, that would be cool!

btw, i live in lake county and go to tri-c west… so i can claim cleveland. i also work for malley’s chocolates! which is based in brook park

26 06 2009
timothykilkenny

lake county shirts are coming soon, we’ll send out an e-mail :) we’d love to do local schools but there’s the little issue of copyrights and all that…however personally i’m not opposed to going to the schools and asking if we can use the school name on our shirts!

I would love to see a Willoughby t-shirt. It is the courtesy city, afterall!

we do have a new Bedford shirt that’s available by following the link here:

http://www.printfection.com/collisionbendclothing/Bedford–Home-of-the-Automile/_p_4070654

As for the other three, they’ve been added to our list of upcoming suburbs :D thanks for the input B!

7 07 2009
Michael

While I want to represent Bedford, the Automile slogan isn’t catchy enough that I would actually buy it. You guys need something more whitty. I don’t like that there is no humor or fun about the Bedford shirt. Overall, I am disappointed and I hope you guys come up with a whittier Bedford shirt. Until then, I’ll wait to buy my Bedford shirt :)

7 07 2009
timothykilkenny

mike,

send us an e-mail @ collisionbendclothing@gmail.com -we’d love to come up with a slogan just for you :)
